Citrus Memorial Hospital Joins Tampa Bay's Largest Health System
Tampa, FL - HCA West Florida will welcome Citrus Memorial Hospital to its family of hospitals today, after working with Citrus Memorial leadership since January 14, 2014, to ensure a smooth transition for the hospital employees, physicians, patients and communities served. The transaction is effective at midnight, November 1.

HCA West Florida was selected following a resounding 4-0 vote by the Citrus County Hospital Board on Thursday, October 26, 2013 and a 7-1 vote by the Citrus Memorial Health Foundation on Monday, October 30, 2013, in HCA's favor.
With this 50-year lease, HCA West Florida expands to include 17 hospitals on 19 campuses, 16 ambulatory surgery centers and approximately 18,000 employees.
