TAMPA, FL - Blake Medical Center, Brandon Regional Hospital, Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Largo Medical Center, Medical Center of Trinity, Northside Hospital, Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point and South Bay Hospital have been named Top Performers on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission (TJC), the nation' leading accreditor of health care organizations. The program recognizes hospitals that attained excellence in evidence-based care in core measure performance data reported for 2014.

"Our dedication to using evidence-based clinical practices helps ensure the best possible outcomes for the patients we care for in Tampa Bay."
Nationally, less than one-third of hospital participating earned TJC's Top Performers distinction. Four HCA West Florida Hospitals have been recognized as Top Performers all five years of the program's existence.
The program recognizes hospitals that attain excellence in accountability measures related to care provided for certain conditions, including heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, surgical care, children's asthma, inpatient psychiatric services, stroke, venous thromboembolism, immunization and perinatal care.
