Heart & Vascular Network
From the latest minimally invasive surgeries like TAVR and Watchman to STEMI times
that beat national goals, our comprehensive cardiac network provides the latest
technology and personalized care. The cardiovascular surgery programs at Brandon
Regional and Citrus Memorial earned the prestigious Society of Thoracic Surgeons
(STS) 3 Star Rating for coronary bypass surgery and two additional PCI programs
were launched at Englewood and Tampa Community. Our Heart Failure Clinics and
Nurse Navigator programs are successfully assisting cardiac patients with managing
their health after discharge.
Comprehensive Cancer Care
HCA’s Sarah Cannon Research Institute is the largest sponsor of clinical trials
in the country, providing our patients access to the latest treatment options,
through our local Oncology and Radiation Oncology specialists. Eight of our
hospitals have achieved Accredited Cancer program (ACoS CoC) status and all
of our hospitals offer extensive imaging and surgical expertise to ensure the best
possible outcomes for our patients.
Orthopedic & Spine Care
Our network is committed to accurate diagnosis and treatment. From conservative
management to the latest minimally invasive techniques including the Mazor
robotic spine system, our hospitals help patients get back to their daily routine
as quickly and safely as possible.
Behavioral Health
A wide range of programs and services are available, including treatment for mental
health and additive issues. Our collaborative network includes six inpatient programs,
Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), partial hospitalization, and outpatient services.
Inpatient Rehabilitation Centers
Patients receive comprehensive treatment in a hospital setting from a
multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation specialists, backed by innovative technology.
The Heart Failure Clinic at Northside Hospital is
successfully helping patients manage their health
and stay out of the hospital. Readmission rates were
dramatically reduced to less than 5 percent this past
year.
